BELLE & SEBASTIAN are an Indiepop band formed in Glasgow by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David back in 1996 that started as a so-called "school project". The band took It's name from a FRENCH Children's Television series about a boy and his dog. Murdoch assembled the seven-piece Belle & Sebastian for his final project featuring himself on guitar and vocals and recruited members by instinct in a local all-night cafe in late 1995. Among the people chosen back then were Sarah Martin on violin, Stevie Jackson on guitar, Chris Geddes on keyboards, Stuart David on bass, Richard Colburn on drums, and Isobel Campbell on cello. "FUNNY LITTLE FROG" was first played here in MANILA by JAM 88.3 back in 2006 which became an instant hit for followers of the radio station. This was the very first single lifted from their 2006 album entitled "The Life Pursuit". "Funny Little Frog" reached #13 in the U.K Charts.
