My country,the REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES , is considered as a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY that is comprise of 7,107 Islands divided into Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. KABAYAN do you guys remember Beauty Queen/Actress Charlene Gonzales mentioning how many islands we have back in the 1994 Miss Universe Pageant held here in MANILA? Ooops!! Muhlach na nga pala siya. He He He!! I may say a lot of Political Controversies rocking the nation again lately from the EURO Generals, JOC-JOC Bolante fertilizer fund scam and the changes in the Senate Presidency that never really left our system. Ang PINOY Talaga!! Naaah!! In the 80s PINOYS were just lucky and blessed enough that at this side of the world the NEW WAVE Genre have flourished and had influenced a lot of youngsters back then. Of course big thanks to WXB102, POWER105, and NU107 during those times because these three radio stations made it possible for us to listen to this kind of music. YUP!! An ASIAN country who knows this kind of musical genre. With the recent visits of 80s Icons here in MANILA this 2008 definitely this kind of music will still be around.Well, here is another Philippine NEW WAVE CD bootleg compilation released here in MANILA back in 1998 entitled "WAVE REPUBLIC". As usual this became a series like the other bootleg compilations I've featured here before. I guess, the REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, is indeed a "WAVE REPUBLIC"!! PINOY NEW WAVERS!!
KABAYAN Rhenzo who also shared us his Italo Mix before was able to complete the entire series and was kind enough to share it here in my little blog. AYUZ ba? Good day DSR, I'm new to ur blogsite. Your blogsite is so interesting and i've jst finished reading some of your blog especially about wxb 102. Man your memory is so good, and you still remember all details from 25 years ago. Anyway, thanks for sharing the indie series. I've just finished downloading the two indie's but the link of the war of the indies is not working anymore can you please upload it again..and also the link of the wave republic is also not working, i've bought a copy of the first strike back in late 90's but i did'nt know it has a 2nd and 3rd strike so can u please also upload the wave republic 2nd & 3rd strike...thank you very much and more power to you, to your site and to all the wavers out there......
